Go to the Visual Studio Team Test blog at this blog entry: UITest Framework – IE Plugin – Part 2. I suggest you read the entire post but the section I am referring to is the second section and is titled similar to this post title. Listing the commands to suppress unnecessary dialogs to make playback more resilient
IE Setting |
Batch Script Command |
Turning off the Prompt that asks whether to turn on the AutoComplete | REG ADD "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\IntelliForms" /v "AskUser" /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f |
Turning IE Auto Complete off |
REG ADD "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main" /v "Use FormSuggest" /t REG_SZ /d "no" /f |
There are are about 11 settings.
